The Eastern Riders Motorcycle Club is based in Broughton in North Lincolnshire England and meets at The Dog and Rat public house in Broughton on the first Wednesday of every month at 8.00 pm.

The Next Club Meet is Wednesday June 7 2005 at 8.00pm.

The official club ride out is going to be the third Sunday of every Month this year. This gives you a whole month between rides to earn enough brownie points to be allowed out for day release. There is also a rumour each official ride out will be followed by a BBQ which means its going to rain on every run this year.

The return of the mag this month, Colin has come out of retirement and kindly penned the first newsletter of 2006. This will be posted out shortly, for those of you who cant wait click on the Mag link on the left.

We are also blessed with Col's new jokes for 2006 under Just for fun.

Humpty has offered to do these runs, ta v much me old mate. Scotland trip is weekend of June 2nd for the week. Interested parties talk to Humpty or let me know and I will pass it on to him.

 The rat rap runs are about 100 miles “steady” miles around the best roads in Lincs finishing with a BBQ at the pub carpark. Rat Trap 1 is May 28th . This is another ride to bring your better half or better still, your daughter ( I was told to write that, they are not my words!) Usual start venue, D & R carpark but a later time, around 1330 for a 1400 hrs setoff. These rides only take a couple of hours so you can do the grass in the morning and still go for a ride in the afternoon. Planning eh
